Join our Access Register
To help us help you, we hold an Access Register. We encourage Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people to join our register so we can help you buy tickets and attend events.
Once registered, you will enjoy priority booking and a free ticket for your Personal Assistant to support you during your visit.

Accessing our venues
Bristol Beacon
We have four performance spaces at Bristol Beacon:
- Beacon Hall
- Lantern Hall
- Weston Stage
- Bridgehouse
All our performance spaces are wheelchair accessible.
We have lifts to all floors.
There is level access from Colston Street or Trenchard street with automatic doors.
Accessible toilets
Our accessible toilet facilities are found on all levels and are signposted in the building. A changing places accessible toilet is available on the Lower Ground Floor of the venue. All our toilets meet UK building standards.
Disabled parking
The nearest disabled parking is in Tenchard Street car park. A lay-by for drop-off with a dropped curb is immediately outside Bristol Beacon on Colston Street.
All assistance dogs are welcome across our venue and in all our performance spaces. Our staff are trained to know how to behave around working dogs. Please ask if there’s anything we can do to help.
An induction hearing loop is available. An assistive listening system is available in the venue spaces.

Seating Plans

Evacuation
We can provide disabled customers with details of our evacuation procedures and any adjustments for specific groups or requirements on request.

Bridgehouse
In Bridgehouse, the name for our entrance foyer, you can find:
- Box Office
- Bristol Loaf, our Café
- Cloakroom
- Bars
- Sound Lounge
- Access to performance spaces Beacon Hall, Lantern Hall, Weston Stage
- Access to our restaurant Colonnade
This space can also be used as a performance space.
We have lowered counters at box office, in our café and at our bars.
Seats are available across Bridgehouse including next to Box Office. If you’re attending a standing event, seats are available on request.
For the majority of events we offer a quiet room. This is usually located in Meeting Room 2 on Level 1 of Bridgehouse.
Beacon Hall
Beacon Hall is the largest of our performance spaces, with a seated capacity of 1,866, or 2,124 for standing events.
Mobility
Spaces for wheelchair users are in:
- row S in the centre of the rear Stalls (10 spaces)
- row Z in the left and right wings at the back of Lower Tier (4 spaces, 2 on each side),
- rows G/H on the left only at the back of Upper Tier (2 spaces)
Hearing Facility
A Sennheiser MobileConnect assistive listening system is installed in the venue space.
Lantern Hall
Lantern Hall is our second performance space with audience capacity from 350 to 500 in a seated or standing format.
Mobility
Spaces for wheelchair users are available within the first 10 rows on the flat floor of the Hall.
Hearing Facility
A Sennheiser MobileConnect assistive listening system is installed in the venue.
Weston Stage
The Weston Stage is our atmospheric subterranean brand-new performance space with audience capacity up to 200. The venue has no allocated seating plans and operates in both standing and unallocated seated formats.

Beacon Music Centre
Our music education hub is wheelchair accessible.
There is level access throughout the building with ramps to higher levels.
Accessible toilets
Our accessible toilet facilities are found near the main entrance

There is disabled parking in our on site car park.

Deaf people or those with hearing loss
Hearing induction loops are installed at Bristol Beacon box office. Hearing aids should be turned to the ‘T’ or ‘3’ position to access the loops.
A Sennheiser MobileConnect assistive listening system is installed in Beacon Hall, Lantern Hall and Cellar performance spaces. Download the free App and use your own mobile device and headphones to listen to the performance. We have some devices and headphones available on request.
For visually impaired people
Copies of our programme and venue information in large print and high contrast is available on request. We no longer produce a seasonal brochure during our transformation.
Guide dogs are welcome to Bristol Beacon and Beacon Music Centre.
Wheelchair users
Bristol Beacon and Beacon Music Centre are wheelchair accessible.
Beacon Hall and Lantern Hall have accessible viewing areas and spaces reserved for wheelchair users.
