A person with a beard wearing a hat stood against a wood background.

Essex-born folk songwriter Beans on Toast is known for his D.I.Y. approach of combining traditional folk with modern-day issues. His songs are a blend of political protest, love, and humor, delivered with no-holds-barred honesty and quick wit.

Breaking down the barriers between musician and audience with his self-deprecating charm, Beans on Toast is a prolific artist, having played everywhere from pubs to festivals such as Glastonbury, where he’s performed every year since 2007.

His latest album, ‘Survival of The Friendliest‘, was recorded in Kent and reflects the warmth of its creation. Featuring contributions from friends and talented musicians, the album radiates joy.
